I love this quote...

This quote is from an article in The New Yorker Magazine on Art Rosenbaum (written by Burkhart Bilger), who records, documents and writes about traditional American music. It describes how I feel about the music I love, so I'd like to share it.

"Now here was this music, like the final clue in a treasure hunt: raw but carefully constructed, intimate yet formal. There was death in it and bitter humor and the ring of real experience. Where could he (she) find more?"
